We understand that timing is crucial here at Dog Training Sterling Heights. Typical positive reinforcement is a reward-based training system. Most food rewards need to be delivered to the dog and under two seconds of the dog performing the behavior for to actually register. Do you know how hard that is? If you tell your dog to sit and then pause for five seconds and then reward the dog, then you’re actually just rewarding your dog for staying, not sitting.
