Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers uses obedience and routines to set patterns to teach dogs where the potty. Potty training is not so much where not to go, but teaching them where they should be going. Part of the way we train is by setting routines for the dog and showing them where the potty. The other tools for potty training we use is obedience to control your dog. If your dog comes on command he cannot go sneak away and potty and we can reliably and quickly get them to the correct party spot if we see them sniffing around!

We at Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers, take the dog outside and we for five minutes and if they don’t go potty and we use the command to isolate the dog for 10 to 15 minutes and then give them another opportunity to go. This is instead of having to constantly put them in a crate. They can stay out with us but on a timeout sponsor they can just go potty on the carpet, and that way we don’t have to put them back into a crate if they didn’t go potty.

We understand that Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers that potty training is all about routine and showing them where to potty and taking away any opportunity to sneak off and go potty on the carpet at summation point crates can be used when we are gone or the dog does not know the place command yet. So the dog does not go outside after 2 to 5 minutes, and we know the dog needs to, the dog would go into the crate for 10 to 15 minutes and then we would take the dog out again and keep repeating this until the dog went to the bathroom outside.

Now what are the top five potty training this? 1. Spanking your dog if you catch him will teach and not the potty on the carpet. Wrong! Spank your dog if you catch him will teach him to be scared of you and teach your dog not the potty in front of you. This too, my dog should be potty trained by four months old. Wrong. There is no age where your dog is magically able to hold his bladder. Potty training is a process that takes time. Three, bills by the door will help train the dog faster. This is also wrong. The bells don’t help the doctrine faster. Bills can be convenient to let you know when they have to go outside, but the bells work by routine and until the dog understands the potty outside routine they won’t actually bring the bow or go outside. Miss for is crates are cruel and I don’t need one. A crate can become your dog safe haven, his or her own personal space. The dog crate is not cool at all if used properly. And miss five, potty pads will help my dog learn to not potty on the carpet. Wrong!!! We highly discourage the use the potty pads! Potty pads teach a dog that is okay to potty inside and this is not good.

Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers

The funny thing we have seen that Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers is a dog that would hide underneath the bed and to information point he knew his dad was spank him and was scared of being spank so he learned to hide out a site and poop. Potty training is not so much where not to potty, but teaching them where they should be. Part of the way we train is setting routines for the dog and showing them where to go. Be patient, there is no perfect ager dog should be fully potty trained five. If your dog is still having 2 to 3 accidents a week after a year old, then that is normally a human problem though… And we need to train you!

Myth one here at Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers, spanking your dog if you catch him will teach him not the party on the carpet. Spank your dog if you catch him will teach your dog to be scared of you and teach your dog not to potty in front of you at summation point when this happens, what the dog will do is or not the party in front of you but instead the dog will run away into another room and go ahead and spot… If you’re spanking your dog, you are going to train your canine companion to run it and potty in secret, don’t do it! The correct response. If you catch your dog peeing on the carpet scream or shriek in a high-pitched voice and immediately pick your dog up and put them in the grass. Then in a soft, soothing voice tell them to go potty. Once the dog goes to the bathroom outside, praise the dog in a soothing voice with a ton of praise, love, and kisses!

Myth two that we see all the time at Gilbert AZ Dog Trainers is that your dog should be potty trained by four months old. There is no age where your dog is magically able to hold his daughter. Potty training is a process that takes time. The three? Bells when the door will help train your dog faster. The bills will help the dog train faster. At the dog doesn’t know where to go yet, and it hasn’t been established by routine, then the bell won’t help the dog go to the door. Bills can be a convenient way to let you know when they have to go outside, but the bells work by routine and until the dog understands, they won’t actually bring the bell to go outside or to use the bathroom.

Myth for? Creature cruel when I don’t need one. A crate can become a dog safe haven, his or her own space. A dog crate is not cruel at all if used properly. The crate isn’t used for punishment, but just as a little home for the dog. Dogs come from dead animals and have Denon stakes and not going to bathroom where they sleep. Crate training isn’t the only way to potty training course, but it is very efficient and very useful tool in our dog training tool belt. And miss five, potty pads will help your dog learn not to party on the carpet. This is so wrong! Potty pads teach the dog that it is okay to potty inside and this is not good at summation point the best thing to teach the dogs that they are the only potty outside on grass only!
