Puppies come in all shapes and sizes and come be a lot of fun but also a lot of hassle!  Puppies need to be shown leadership but need to have fun as well.  We help puppies learn where their boundaries are and what is and is not acceptable.  We find the best time to start training formal obedience is about 4 months old.  We have trained puppies as young as 8-10 weeks old before and trained adult dogs that are 11 or 12 years old.  But we find the best time to start is about 4-6 months old.  Before that they can learn but they are still very young with short attention spans.  Before 4 months old we recommend just working on socializing the dog with lots of people and other dogs.
