Scar - Boxer
I’m Jim Carroll. I adopted Scar just a couple of months ago, and boy, was he a handful! He was always on the move, jumping around, and licking everything in sight. It was a bit of a struggle to get him to calm down and listen.
That’s when I decided to reach out to Tip Top K9 for some private training sessions. I was hopeful, but I had no idea just how much of a difference it would make. Now, Scar is a completely transformed pup. He’s learned to “place” on command, which means he goes to a specific spot and stays there until I give him the okay to move. He also comes when called, and he’s learned to “off” – that’s our command for when I want him to stop messing with something.
The transformation has been nothing short of amazing. Scar is a completely different dog now that we’ve finished our private lessons. He’s still the same lovable goofball, but he’s much better behaved and easier to manage. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to adopt him and to invest in his training. It’s been a rewarding journey for both of us, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my four-legged friend.
Nash - Lab Mix
Our beloved canine companion, Nash, was once a notorious escape artist. Every time we ventured out for a walk, he would seize the opportunity to dart away, leaving us in a frantic chase. His selective hearing seemed to kick in whenever we called him back, and he seemed to take a perverse delight in showing us his tail as he scampered off. It was a frustrating and exhausting ordeal that left us feeling helpless and at our wits’ end.
In our desperation, we turned to Tip Top K9, a renowned dog training service, and enrolled Nash in private lessons. The transformation that followed was nothing short of miraculous. It was as if Nash had metamorphosed from a mischievous imp into a well-behaved gentleman overnight.
Now, Nash responds promptly when called, and he sits obediently on command. He has mastered the command ‘place’, and his newfound understanding of ‘heel’ has put an end to his leash-pulling antics during our walks. The change in his behavior has made our time together infinitely more enjoyable and less stressful.
Tip Top K9’s training has proven to be an invaluable investment, and the benefits have far exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled with Nash’s progress and eagerly look forward to continuing his training journey with group class dog training here in KC.

Mila & Monty - German Shepherd
Our introduction to Tip Top K9 was through a friend who owned an unruly Airedale. We were astounded by the transformation that took place in her dog after training with Tip Top K9. This inspired us to enroll our own wild child, Mila, into their program
Mila was a bit of a handful, and we thought it would be beneficial for her to receive some professional training. We were not disappointed. The results were nothing short of miraculous.
