Luna the German Shepherd
Luna was an out of control German Shepard puppy who would jump on anyone that walked through the door. She liked to jump on the counters for extra treats and walking her on the leash was a struggle. Her heart was in the right place, but she was definitely a handful. Due to some of her bad habits, her owners were not able to take Luna for a walk or have many family members come over. After three weeks of private lessons now instead of running to and jumping all over new people, she will sit at your feet and wait for love to come to her!. No need to worry about pulling on the leash either. She walks with only two fingers of leash pressure on the lead! Luna has made such a transformation!
Slate the Labradoodle!
This is Slate a 75 lb Labradoodle that would pick when he wanted to listen to his owners! While he loved mom he saw mom as his buddy and not his boss. But Slate loved everyone! He jumped on everyone and sometimes would mouth and slobber all over people to show his great affection for them. Trying to walk Slate was next to impossible for his owners as strong as he is. Slate did one of our Doggie Boot Camps here at Tip Top K9. That is a board and train program where we take them and fully train them. When he came back to train his parents they had moved into a high rise building with neighbors everywhere but now the behaviors were in check. They are now able to keep him from jumping on their new neighbors and the best part is they now walk him to the park and all around town now with confidence!
