Our little gal Dakota was start to act out, barking at everything, lunging towards people as we passed walking, growling at everyone, we were at our wits end on what to do. We can’t thank you enough for the amazing guidance and training we have received.We had in-home training for a 13 month old and a 6 month old puppy. We’ve always had bad behaved fur babies as we had no idea how to effectively train our fur babies.as a result of this training, our male’s reactivity to strangers walking by our house had been eliminated. Our female was a neurotic barker, which resulted in our home being her 5th in her short 6 month life. With guidance and training for both dog and owner, we have ben able to correct the barking .During training every family member was expertly guided in how to work with each dog.The money invested in dog training was well worth it. I am so grateful for Tip Top K9!! From the consult appointment with Treven and through every single lesson my dog, Binx, and I had with Thaeden, we were greeted with kindness, patience, and enthusiastic expertise. I chose the 17-session private lesson package, and it was WELL worth the investment. It was SO valuable to have Thaeden give Binx the foundation, and then teach me at the point that Binx was already confident. What I so appreciate about their method is that it is really teaching my dog and me how to communicate. They use a collar similar to a TENS unit (NOT a “shock collar”). I was nervous about that to start, and they compassionately explained it to me and even helped me test it out to see what it feels like. Most importantly, they employ that communication tool correctly. It is used simultaneously with a command, showing my dog what *to* do, as opposed to a signal after the fact that he has done something wrong. AND they are so mindful of using this communication tool according to how the particular dog needs it in a particular moment. Then they taught me all that and helped me build my confidence. Oh, and all the employees I interacted with are so nice and responsive! I have such a stronger more confident bond, and I can go hiking with him, entertain at my house, and hang out with him on any patio restaurant or open-air festival! Looking forward to group classes! Had a great experience with training my dog there. We were at a point where we were looking to rehome our doberman due to aggression but had tip top trainers come out and do a consultation. We are so happy with our experience our Doberman is doing such a great job at home and with others! We had an amazing experience with TipTop! Trevon eased all of our concerns during the first consultation and spent time guiding us through the program. Tony came out after to pickup and drop off our pup which included parent training the day she came back. He was excellent! He spent hours with us ensuring we were comfortable with commands and performing them correctly. He made sure to answer all of our questions and didn’t move on until we said we were ready. He helped us feel confident and comfortable. TipTop was truly an amazing company to work with, our puppy is doing great and we can’t wait to see her grow even more!

Wonderful experience from start to finish! We met these guys at a Home & Garden show and were impressed with how well behaved their dogs were. They offered to come out to our house for one free private training session. The first visit was 90% explaining the product/methods, and 10% training. They really took the time to make sure we understood things, and we moved forward with the 2 session package. We saw it as an investment and were excited about having our huge dogs be able to behave around family, friends, children, strangers, and other animals - in the home, in public spaces, and on walkies. During the sessions, our trainer really encouraged our dogs to make good decisions, in order to get rewarded with lots of praise/lovins, not just obey “or else”. He was also super thorough with his explanations, and helped us learn all the ins and outs of reasoning, timing, and best methods for training. Neither our dogs nor us were scolded/spoken to sharply once during the entire learning process. I truly feel like these employees love, respect, and enjoy training these pups. Even the dispatchers were super communicative and we were always in communication if there was an earlier opening or if he was running a few min late. Overall, amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for help with training their dogs. I’m excited to see what we can do, now that Tip Top K-9 has empowered us with the tools to work together on training with confidence!

I was extremely skeptical that our little girl was even trainable because she was not only dog and people aggressive she was paralyzed as well. I thought her aggression was just something we would have to deal with because of what she had gone through in her earlier life. I WAS WRONG ;) And I couldn't be happier to be WRONG. From the moment Tip Top K9 came to the house, she knew something was up. She's extremely bright and knew she was going to be given a job. (aka chance) . Don't get me wrong, she tried to get her way with the trainer on day one, but he was so patient with her and continued to work with her while showing her respect. By doing this, she quickly realized he was there to help her, not hurt her. She learned how to focus on what we wanted her to do and it not only took the stress away from her, but it took it away from us as well. Never in a million years would i have believed this would have worked. We tried other trainers and they just didn't have a full interest in her. Maybe because she was paralyzed or too aggressive. Tip Top was honest with us and told us they would never be able to take the aggression out of her BUT they could teach her how to refocus her aggression to do what we needed her to do. It's amazing how differently dogs think. But Tip Top has it figured out. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR TRAINER. Always on time and gave her the full hour of training every time. After Bolita graduated, we were able to have friends and family over and she knew exactly what to do AND NOT TO DO. She was relaxed on her "place" and allowed everyone to mingle and talk. She didn't make a peep. (Of course she had her muzzle on for caution) Prior to Tip Top, this would have never been possible. We would definitely recommend Tip Top K9 Gilbert Dog Training. So happy we found you.

I have an (almost) 5 month old German Shepherd puppy, Banana, who recently underwent the “house manners” training package. Ever since our initial consultation, I knew that Tip Top could be trusted to care for and train Banana. They were very cognizant about my long-term goals for Banana, and they explained their training process with the utmost clarity. They helped Banana gain confidence and become a more well-trained, obedient dog! I am incredibly thankful for the time and effort they put in to training Banana, and will definitely take full advantage of the free lifetime group training sessions!

Tip Top K9 Gilbert was quick to respond to my inquiry. We have a 10 year old Cocker Spaniel and we were worried about her aggression towards our newborn. I always felt heard and not judged. We both had the same goal, to help our dog Baby feel safe. Our consolation was amazing with Cameron! He really listened to our needs and spent time with us to ensure we had the best plan put together. It really was $1! They picked her up from our home a few days later for a week long training camp. I had called to check on our girl and they were great at communicating with me. They even have a texting system set up. A few days before her “homecoming party” I received a wonderful video update via email. The love that she received after showing off her new skills with Josh, made me feel like she was in good hands. We received thorough communication about her arrival and they worked to find a time to meet our schedule. Tony arrived with Baby and was attentive, kind and a great human trainer! We learned about the e-collar, her new skills and how to put them to work. Tony was patient as we went through many scenarios that would put her new skills to the test. He made sure we understood and answered all of our questions. I am beyond impressed that not only were they able to teach an old dog new tricks, they bathed her before coming home. 1000/10 recommend!

Tip top was great with our very temperamental frenchie. Our dog did not like any humans that lived outside of our home. Brett came and picked him up for boot camp and our dog took a liking to him and he loves training with him. Tony was so great and thorough going over all of the training that they had been through when he dropped our pup off. Making sure we were very comfortable with all commands, training needs and collar instructions. We feel very confident and can’t wait to join the group classes!!!
Tony was fantastic with our reintroduction to our dog, Crew. Tony did an amazing job showing us and our two kids how to work the remotes and collar. Thaeden is extremely nice and super helpful. We purchased the teacher pet package (private training) for our dachshund/cocker spaniel mix, who had a lot of aggressive and stubborn characteristics and had repeatedly bitten and lashed out at us. We were pretty lost on a solution with how bad our dog was being and no online training video would help; until we discovered tip top K9. To check if it worked for us, the initial one-dollar setup for someone to come out was great, and the query was quite simple. There were many options available, so you can pick the one that best suits you and your dog. Our trainer Thaeden was amazing and knowledgable. I highly suggest this program. The dogs' lifetime group class that is included in the package was the deciding factor for me! Strongly suggested!
