At Tip Top K9 in Myrtle Beach, we don’t just train dogs, we live and breathe it! Our passion, our hobby, our calling – it’s transforming the wildest of pups into the most delightful companions. The joy of witnessing this transformation is simply unparalleled! One dog we just trained at boot camp, a charming little shepherd mix named Lilly with a crazy spirit but a heart full of love. At just six months old, this rescue puppy was all over her elderly owners, unintentionally scratching them with her sharp claws and running all over them. She was just a bundle of energy and craziness, not knowing how to express her affection appropriately to not hurt her owners. But after a weeklong boot camp at our Myrtle Beach dog training facility, Lily was a changed pup. She learned to respond to commands of come, place, off and quiet almost perfectly. She learned to keep her paws to herself, and to take time-outs when needed (doggie time out is the place command). She was still the same loving puppy, but in just an hour and half of human training we transferred all this to her owners and they knew how to control her and she knew how to show her love in a way that was not painful for her owners. Her transformation was possible because we did a $1.00 consultation and then after seeing how well she responded during the quick consultation, we knew that our 1-week boot camp was just the thing for Lily. Lulu the Doodle!
Lulu was just your everyday Doodle puppy. What she lacked in coordination, she more than made up for with crazy. She was an escape artist and would love to be chased around the neighborhood and parkour through the house! After just 4 weeks of private in-home training, she had a new lease on life. Instead of taking off down the street every time the front door was opened, she now just stays on her cot. Lulu still has her same loving and affectionate personality, but now channels her energy into running laps around the backyard pool instead of the neighborhood!
